Peter has spent a number of years in a consultancy role and is currently Deputy Managing Director of bioss europe. In addition, for several years, he was an HR Director in a financial service's organisation. The theme of Peter's work continues to be the development of people and organisations.
Within that broad theme his work has extended across reviewing talent management strategies, designing and implementing organisational structures and systems, using the Levels of Work approach, as well as evaluating the competencies, qualities and capabilities of people. He has helped clients to identify emerging and latent talent using Career Path Appreciation (CPA), and with the implementation of succession plans. In addition, he has extensive experience of using the EFQM Excellence Model as a means of bringing change and improvement to organisations, including leading a team that won the British Quality Foundation annual quality award.
His experience of psychometrics has been gained since the mid 1980's by designing and conducting many assessments of people at all levels in organisations, particularly senior executive and managerial level. This has also involved coaching of people in using the results to formulate development action plans.
Peter's experience has been gained in a wide range of private sector organisations including service, manufacturing, finance and mining industries including work overseas. Almost inevitably much of this work has been in organisations that were in the process of change.
Peter gained his Masters in Management Development through Salford University, and is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel and Development. He is qualified in the administration and interpretation of psychometric tests and questionnaires, is a practitioner of Career Path Appreciation (CPA) whilst he is also a Master Trainer in Team Management Systems.
