For over 25 years Luc Hoebeke has been a consultant and author, publishing articles in Dutch, Spanish and Anglo-American journals both academic and professional. These pieces are reflections on his practice as a management and organization consultant in the profit and not-for-profit sectors, in both private and public institutions in most European countries.

Hoebeke is involved as a consultant in the design and the facilitation of Large Group Interventions, multi-stakeholder platforms, search conferences, and other settings. The main purpose is to create conditions for social innovation using the diversity of worldviews and opinions as an asset and not as a liability.

He is also involved with the design and realization of new MBA curricula at the Universities of Amsterdam and Leiden. He is a visiting professor at the Business School of the University of Cape Town, SA, which has used his 1994 book as the framework for its Executive MBA curriculum to teach managers how to contend with ever-increasing complexity. He is also a visiting lecturer at SIOO, the Interfaculty Foundation for Organization Development in the Netherlands, a foundation sponsored by the main Dutch universities.
