Unusual among RO-based practitioners, Don is an experienced general management consultant holding the certification as Fellow Certified Management Consultant.

He was Managing Director of Hickling-Johnson, 

in strategy, organization and staffing.  He's held managing partner positions in several major management consulting firms,  

He is a long-term member of Young Presidents and then World Presidents.  In addition he facilitated these groups and later was a trainer of others to be group facilitators.

Don is a mechanical engineer with an S.M. from M.I.T.’s Sloan School of Management. He was visiting scholar at the Graduate School of Public Policy at the University of California at Berkeley. Mr. Fowke was a Chairman and CEO of Hickling-Johnston and a Managing Director of William M. Mercer. He is a Professional Engineer, a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants of Ontario and a member of the YPO Gold. He is a certified Enneagram teacher and past Chairman of the Global Organization Design Society.
